6. The IP settings of Apple Mobile Device Ethernet should be configured to allow dynamic address assignment by DHCP server. This is done by selecting Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically. Although this is the default setting in Windows, it's worth looking if you experience troubles while connecting.

Local Area Connection 2 Properties > Networking tab : Apple Mobile Device Ethernet, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties.   Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties > General tab : You can get IP settings assigned automatically if your network supports this capability. Otherwise, you need to ask your network administrator for the appropriate IP settings.
