8. Well, your computer is connected to the Internet now. What is better, this tethered connection can be shared with other computers via a PAN/LAN/WLAN direct (ad hoc) connection over Bluetooth/Ethernet/Wi-Fi. Of course, if your iPhone's 3G Internet connection is fast enough to be shared by two or three computers and if your operator doesn't tell you that sharing a 3G connection with other computers violates its terms of service!

Local Area Connection 2 Properties > Sharing tab : Allow other network users to connect through this computer Internet connection. Home networking connection: Select a private network connection, Local Area Connection, Wireless Network Connection
